Five weeks into The Alliance of American Football (AAF) season and one team has risen above the rest. The Orlando Apollos are 5-0 with a league-high 149 points scored and a +72 in net points. While the favorites continue to win games, that doesn't mean they've been covering the spread at the same rate. Last week, favorites went 3-1 overall and 2-2 against the spread.


Two Week AAF 5 losers, the 1-4 Memphis Express and the 1-4 Salt Lake Stallions, face off in the first game of Week 6 with the Stallions coming in as 6.5-point home favorites, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

The largest spread of the weekend is in the Saturday night game between the 5-0 Apollos and the 2-3 Arizona Hotshots. Orlando is favored by 9.5 points.


The 3-2 San Antonio Commanders head to Atlanta to take on the 2-3 Legends in what is expected to be the closest game of the weekend according to the point spread. The home-team Legends are favored by just 1.5 points.


And in a battle of 3-2 teams, the San Diego Fleet battle the Birmingham Iron with the Fleet coming in as 6-point favorites, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

There's just one over/under total above 41 points, and that game features two of the three AAF teams that have topped 100 points so far this season. The Arizona-Orlando game has a total of 44.5 points, per FanDuel Sportsbook.


But even if lots of points aren't scored, football fans should just be happy there are games being played in March.
