The Mardi Gras festival in New Orleans might be the city's biggest claim to fame. The annual cultural festival, starting on Jan. 6 and culminating on "Fat Tuesday" the day before Ash Wednesday on the Advent calendar, celebrates New Orleans and its colorful history with a parade of floats, tons of eating and even more partying.

It's a happy event that brings everyone together, including former NFL quarterback and New Orleans native, Peyton Manning.

Manning has always been someone known to have a good time and interact with the people and fans, especially in his hometown. That's why it should come to no surprise Manning was spotted tossing a football back and forth with someone on a float during Mardi Gras.

New Orleans resident or not, it's good to see Manning hanging with the people in retirement and still having as much fun as ever.
