It's already the middle of December, which means that the MLB Winter Meetings are over and the Hot Stove is continuing to heat up. As the dominoes begin to fall in free agency, there are still some massive pieces available in the MLB free-agent market. Most notably, the two franchise altering players in Bryce Harper and Manny Machado.
As free agents begin to sign and the market shrinks, let's consider who are the three best remaining free agents not named Harper or Machado
3. Yasmani Grandal, Catcher

Yasmani Grandal is the best free-agent catcher option and that makes him extremely valuable. He's a master at framing pitches behind the plate and had 24 homers and 64 RBI along with a .349 OBP last season. He also had a 3.6 WAR last year, which is the highest among free-agent catchers. Grandal could be the piece that puts a potential playoff team over the hump.
2. Dallas Keuchel, Starting Pitcher
The former Cy Young winner is the best starting pitcher left on the market after Patrick Corbin signed with the Washington Nationals in early December. Dallas Keuchel hasn't quite reached his Cy Young heights over the last few seasons, but in 2018 he still had a 3.74 ERA and pitched more than 200 innings. He might not be a legit ace anymore, but he's still a No. 1 option for most teams.
1. A.J. Pollock, Outfielder

If A.J. Pollock hadn't gotten hurt in 2016, he'd be demanding a lot more attention than he's getting right now. He's been banged up ever since, but in his last full season, Pollack hit .315 and stole 39 bases. Even with some nagging injuries, he still had a 2.5 WAR, significantly higher than any other free-agent outfielder. Pollack hit 21 homers in 413 at-bats last season, making him the best middle-of-the-order bat on the market outside of Harper and Machado.
