Los Angeles Chargers running back Melvin Gordon left the game against the Arizona Cardinals with an apparent leg injury. On a third-quarter reverse Cardinals defensive end Robert Nkemdiche leg whipped Gordon and the running back went down awkwardly.

Gordon came into the game with knee and hamstring injuries and was a game-time decision so this just compounded whatever he was dealing with. He was visibly limping as he left the sidelines and with his team having a huge lead, it's safe to say, his day was over.

You hope that Gordon's injury isn't too serious. Avoiding the dreaded ACL injury is the big hurdle, so as long as that's out of the way, Gordon shouldn't miss more than a couple of weeks, at best. Backup running back Austin Ekeler will fill in for Gordon if and when he's out, making him a solid RB2 or FLEX option in most leagues.
