The San Francisco 49ers have released star linebacker Reuben Foster following another arrest for domestic violence, just hours prior to the team's Week 12 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Foster remains in jail since the arrest and will now be placed on waivers, which he will almost certainly clear.

Foster was previously arrested and charged for domestic violence by the same 28-year-old woman. She later recanted her accusations and Foster was set free.

Regardless of how this one plays out, the 49ers clearly had enough of Foster, who had been on thin ice because of run-ins with the law dating back to his time at the University of Alabama.

You never want to see this type of stuff turn out to be true, but even if it is not, it's clear that Foster needs to make some changes in his personal life to potentially get his career back on track.
