David Njoku has had a roller coaster season and every single fantasy football owner is well aware of it. He couldn't get anything going and then had a mid-season revival thanks to Baker Mayfield taking the helm. Njoku was one tight end who saw his stock skyrocketing up.

Then, he put up a goose egg against a Steelers defense that hasn't done well covering tight ends.

It was a total head-scratcher. Mayfield was chucking the ball all day and Njoku didn't even get a single look.

This has more to do with the Browns former coaching staff than it does with Njoku. They didn't do a good job using their weapons to their advantage. The good news for the Browns is their schedule (in terms of passing defenses) is about to get better.

The Browns face off against the Chiefs this week and a defense that's 31st in passing yards allowed. They're also 27th in the league against tight ends according to ESPN, allowing more than 70 yards five times this season.

Njoku's donut this past week may be frightening, but the upside is there against a secondary that did not improve over the trade deadline.
