It's amazing what a bye week can do for a man. Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end O.J. Howard went down with an MCL injury, but he won't miss any more time due to a quick recovery.

The former first-round pick is active and will play against the Atlanta Falcons.

It's likely we're going to have a shootout on our hands with this one, so Howard's involvement in this game is huge for the Bucs.

The bye week couldn't have come at a better time. He left the team's Week 4 loss against the Chicago Bears and was expected to possibly miss a month. Instead, he'll be right back in the lineup against Atlanta.

The Falcons have done a good job against tight ends this season but their defense is in shambles. They're ranked 22nd in passing yardage allowed and 28th in passing touchdowns given up. Expect Howard to help raise those numbers even higher this week.
