The Houston Texans' rushing attack has been odd so far in 2018. The Texans rank in the top 10 in rushing yards per game, but that's not thanks to their running backs, especially from a fantasy standpoint.

The top-10 ranking comes mostly due to Deshaun Watson's 201 rushing yards.

As far as the backs go, Lamar Miller was the clear starter through the first couple weeks, before getting banged up and being an active DNP against the Cowboys in Week 5. Alfred Blue picked up 28 touches in that game, going for 46 yards on the ground and 73 yards through the air on eight receptions.

Now, with Miller expected back in Week 6, who's the better fantasy play against the Bills this week?

First, let's look at their stats for the season as a whole:

Miller: 58 rushes, 225 yards, 8 receptions, 54 yards, 1 touchdown

Blue: 49 rushes, 162 yards, 1 touchdown, 9 receptions, 77 yards

But a closer look at the past two weeks says a lot:

Miller: 14 rushes, 49 yards
Blue: 33 rushes, 77 yards, 8 receptions, 73 yards

Much of that disparity comes from the fact that Miller was active but did not play in Week 5 while Blue racked up 20 rushes and eight catches. Normally, this would be enough to say play Blue, but with Miller coming back, they're expected to at least split touches and Blue didn't exactly excel in his efficiency. If you take away half of Blue's touches from Sunday, which we can assume Miller will, then he would have finished with 10 rushes for 23 yards and four receptions for 37 yards – not exactly an inspiring line.

Honestly, just stay away from both of these guys, if you can. Miller is averaging 3.9 yards per carry, and Blue is averaging 3.3 on the year. Miller has been a disappointment so far for those who drafted him, but for the time being, he's still at least the safer play.

Begrudgingly, I'd rather have Miller in my lineup as an RB2 or, preferably, a FLEX play.
