It's that time of year again! The classic Week 7 AP Top-25 Poll sneak-in appearances by quietly-undefeated or single-loss teams is in full swing thanks to late bloomers like No. 25 Cincinnati, No. 23 USF, No. 20 NC State and No. 19 Colorado.

But for those of you that believe these programs are simply holding a temporary rental spot in this week's Top-25 poll, the latest College Football Playoff odds and bookmakers would vehemently disagree with you.

America, meet the undefeated NC State Wolfpack and Colorado Buffaloes – the two teams with the country's hottest Week 7 odds gains to win the College Football Playoff.

With NC State skyrocketing by 7000 to +16000 and Colorado catapulting by 8000 to +8000 in the latest Week 7 odds, these teams mean business in the books.

For context, NC State and Colorado now have better odds to win the elusive four-team playoff than household programs like Stanford, Michigan State, Oregon, USC, and Texas A&M through the first half of the season!

That's not exactly a gimmick sample size either.

As soon as an ACC sleeper like NC State has better odds to win the CFP than a team like Auburn (+10000), it's probably time to start paying attention.
