The Oakland A's head to Yankee Stadium tonight to take on the New York Yankees. Much unlike scenarios we've seen in the MLB playoffs thus far, these two teams come into tonight on two full days of rest. The winner moves on to face the Boston Red Sox in a best-of-five American League Divisional Series.

Game Info: Oakland A's (97-65, 47-34 on the road) at New York Yankees (100-62, 53-28 at home), Yankee Stadium, 8:00 p.m. EST.

Starting Pitchers:

Liam Hendricks - R (0-1, 4.13 ERA, 1.46 WHIP, 22 Ks in 24.0 innings) Tonight's "opener" for the A's, Hendricks has been used primarily as a reliever. The Yanks will see more than a few different pitchers from the A's bullpen.

Luis Severino - R (19-8, 3.39 ERA, 1.14 WHIP, 220 Ks in 191.1 innings) The numbers have been much better at home for Sevy, who has gone 10-2 with a 2.74 ERA at Yankee Stadium. He did, however, just get touched up by this A's team for six runs (five earned) over 2.2 innings back on Sept. 5.

Odds: The Yankees (-178) are sizeable favorites while the A's (+158) make for a decent value hit if they come away with the win. The 1.5 lines: Yankees (-1.5: +112) / A's (+1.5: -126).

Over/Under: 8.5 = Over: -102 / Under: -114. The visiting A's had the fourth-most runs in the American League and scored the most runs (444) on the road of any team in MLB. The Yankees had the second-most runs at home and overall for any team in baseball.

Interesting Stat: Since they started a three-game series against the Boston Red Sox on Sept. 18, the Yanks have gone 9-4 -- they played the Red Sox twice over that stretch, winning four of the six games. Over that same span, the A's are 7-5.

Best Prop: 2 Runs or More (+230) in First Inning

Severino was in this same exact spot last year in the AL Wild Card game and gave up a three-run homer. Now, I don't see that happening once again, but he has been known to make things interesting early in these nail-biting spots. Yankee Stadium will be absolutely rocking, so expect the offense to thrive on that energy and put some runs on the board.
