Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen returned to practice Friday after being held out for precautionary reasons in each of the last two days.

This is a good sign that he'll play in the Chargers' Week 4 matchup at home against the San Francisco 49ers.

Allen suffered the knee injury late in the Week 3 loss to the Los Angeles Rams, but it didn't seem like anything too serious came of it.

Sunday's matchup against the 49ers is one of the best on the board, and it's gotten even better with the news that cornerback Richard Sherman will be out.

Look for not only Allen, but the rest of the Chargers' receiving corps to post huge numbers with quarterback Phillip Rivers dropping dimes all over the joint. As you can see above, the 49ers are good against the run and just the opposite against the pass, meaning Allen will have plenty of opportunities to thrive.
