Players on the Patriots' offense have carried fantasy teams for years. No matter who the ageless Tom Brady was throwing to, it just seemed to always work out.

Whether it was Randy Moss and Wes Welker, or Reche Caldwell and Troy Brown, you could always rely on the Pats for fantasy success.

But this year, something seems different.

Yes, it could be that they don't have Brandin Cooks, Danny Amendola, receiving back Dion Lewis, and the currently-suspended Julian Edelman. Or maybe, just maybe, Brady's fountain of youth has run out.

With the offense currently led by Rob Gronkowski and James White, plus the addition of Josh Gordon, it's more likely than not that the Patriots' offense will figure it out. Everyone will shift down one notch on the totem pole, which should actually be a positive for Chris Hogan and Phillip Dorsett as they'll face No. 3 corners, rather than the top-notch ones they're currently lining up against.

Let's give the Pats another week or two to integrate their newest toy in Gordon, and see where they sit when they battle the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 6.
