There are only three college football games on the Friday night slate, but that still doesn't exclude two of the most explosive offenses from taking the field. There are some big spreads in the air tonight, but even bigger arms with Penn State's Trace McSorley and UCF's McKenzie Milton taking center stage.

Game 1: Florida Atlantic Owls at No. 16 UCF Knights (-13.5), 7 p.m. EST

Florida Atlantic head coach Lane Kiffin made a name for his new program on the back of momentous offense last season, but there just hasn't been that same spark of dominance in 2018. The Owls are going on the road to face an impressive UCF team currently ranked No. 2 in total offense this season. They'll be itching to score some points and catch some more eyes on the national radar with an extra week of rest under their belts after Hurricane Florence canceled their Week 3 game against North Carolina.

If that wasn't enough, FAU will also have to deal with Heisman-hopeful McKenzie Milton, who will be dying to throw some more deep balls after losing an entire week to add some merit to his Heisman résumé.

Game 2: No. 10 Penn State Nittany Lions at Illinois Fighting Illini (+27), 9 p.m. EST

If you asked anyone to trust Penn State covering 27 points on the road after Week 1, they'd either be delusional or someone by the name of James Franklin – Penn State's head coach. But the Nittany Lions have since rediscovered the explosive offensive identity that brought them back to Top-10 relevance.

Even though Penn State is on the road, Illinois is just about as close as it gets to a bye week in Big Ten conference play. The only hesitation may be Penn State overlooking tonight's game in Urbana-Champaign with matchups against No. 4 Ohio State in Week 4 and No. 24 Michigan State in Week 5.
