3 Fantasy Football Stacks to Own in Week 3

Stacks are usually necessary in order to win these large-field DFS tournaments like FanDuel's $3M NFL Sunday Million contest. You get double the points from your quarterback tossing it to a running back or wide receiver - it's simple math, folks.

Let's take a look a look at who we're rolling out this week.

1. New Orleans Saints (Drew Brees, Alvin Kamara & Michael Thomas) at Atlanta Falcons

The keys to this stack are Kamara and Thomas, who should both rack up the fantasy points from number of receptions alone. In terms of allowing receptions to the running back position, Atlanta’s defense is tragic, and that was before middle linebacker Deion Jones and safety Keanu Neal were injured. The Falcons defense has also allowed 15 receptions to opposing No. 1 wide receivers over the first two games. Let’s not forget about Brees either, who is completing over 80 percent of his passes this season and totaling 682 yards, five touchdowns and no interceptions.

2. Los Angeles Rams (Jared Goff, Todd Gurley & Cooper Kupp) vs. Los Angeles Chargers

The Battle of LA could be end up being a one-sided affair, as the Rams severely outmatch this Chargers team that has injuries piling up on the defensive side of the ball. Look for Goff and Gurley to control the pace of this game and keep Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers off the field. When it comes to pass catchers, you can basically choose any of these three fantasy studs, but Kupp’s workload out of the slot should be the most consistent on a week-to-week basis.

3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Ryan Fitzpatrick, Mike Evans & DeSean Jackson) vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

Ryan 'Fitzmagic' is alive and well down in Tampa so we’ll just let the good times keep on rolling here against a Steelers defense that just got shredded for six passing touchdowns last week. Both Evans and D-Jax have been incredibly efficient with Fitzpatrick under center – Evans has 17 catches on 19 targets for 230 yards with two touchdowns, while Jackson has caught all nine of his targets for a league-leading 275 yards and three touchdowns.
