The Los Angeles Chargers have a ton of high expectations this season, but they are not off to the best start.

Not only is this team going into Week 2 without a win, but will be without their superstar defender for a number of weeks.

The Chargers are expecting Joey Bosa to be out until at least October.

You can't meet expectations without a game-changer like this.

Bosa isn't just one of the better players on the team. He's one of the best pass rushers in the entire league. The first-round pick has had double-digit sacks in each of his first two seasons and was looking to surpass the 12.5 mark he set a year ago.

That's going to be hard to do as the Chargers aren't expecting him to return until Week 5 at the earliest.

Los Angeles will have no problem shutting down the Bills this week without him, but their upcoming matchups aren't favorable. This team faces the San Francisco 49ers and will have to try to slow down the machine that is the Rams.

Bosa would've been huge, but instead, the Chargers will try to keep the ship upright without him.
