More of Fantasy person?— FanDuel Sportsbook (@FDSportsbook) September 14, 2018
Who do you think scores the MOST FanDuel Points for a QB in Week 2?
Drew Brees +650
Philip Rivers +1200
Tom Brady +1400
Alex Smith +2000
Russell Wilson +2000
Matthew Stafford +2000
Ben Roethlisberger +2200
Patrick Mahomes +2200
Andrew Luck +2200 pic.twitter.com/2lp1C5S3l3
Brees is coming off a monster Week 1 with 439 yards and three touchdowns in the New Orleans Saints 48-40 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers; this week, he'll take aim at a somewhat improved Browns defense in Week 2. It would be hard not to have Brees as the favorite given his track record for massive fantasy performances.
Meanwhile, Phillip Rivers had an equally impressive Week 1 showing in a loss to the Chiefs, putting up 424 yards and 3 touchdowns -- probably could've been more, if not for a few untimely drops from his receivers. Rivers matches up with the Buffalo Bills in Week 2, who just gave up 47 points to the Baltimore Ravens in Week 1.
Filling out the Top-5, Tom Brady has a tough matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Alex Smith is facing off with the Indianapolis Colts, and Russell Wilson is playing Khalil Mack and the Chicago Bears on Monday night.
It's also interesting to see that Matthew Stafford and Ben Roethlisberger still made the top of the list despite throwing a combined seven interceptions in Week 1.
One thing to remember is that whoever you choose, they do have to surpass Andy Dalton and his 26.6 fantasy points from Thursday night, but given the performances, many of these guys put up regularly, that shouldn't be too much of an issue. The leader here will almost certainly surpass 30 points for the week.
Just don't sleep on Patrick Mahomes and his cannon arm.
