Finding two-start pitchers with favorable matchups on the waiver wire can be the difference between a win and a loss in fantasy baseball in any given week.

With added strikeouts and potential wins, these three two-start pitchers are worth an add off the waiver wire in Week 6.

Mike Fiers has not been good this season, pitching to a 6.81 ERA through eight starts this season. However, he's been solid in his last two starts and gets two quality matchups this week. Facing the Cincinnati Reds on Tuesday and the Detroit Tigers on Saturday, Fiers gets to face two of the worst offenses in baseball. Plus, he has a career 2.60 ERA in 10 outings against the Reds and a 2.93 ERA in five starts versus the Tigers.

2. CC Sabathia, SP, New York Yankees

CC Sabathia gets the Seattle Mariners and the Tampa Bay Rays this week, two teams he has dominated in his career. The big lefty has a 14-6 record and a 2.60 ERA in 29 starts versus the Mariners and has gone 17-16 with a 3.67 ERA in 48 starts against Tampa. Getting a home start out of CC on Monday, where he hasn't given up an earned run in two outings this season, makes him a nice add for Week 6.

It would be smart for fantasy owners to ignore Marcus Stroman's 1-4 record on the season. It's his 2.20 ERA and 39 Ks in 41 innings that make him worth a pickup for Week 6. He gets two starts at Rogers Centre, on Monday and Saturday, where he owns a 0.76 ERA through four starts in 2019. Stroman could add at least one win and 10-plus strikeouts to your team's counting stats this week.
