Week 12 of the NFL season brings us a slew of tight lines. There's just one double-digit spread on the slate, which features the Miami Dolphins visiting the Cleveland Browns as 11-point road underdogs, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
While it's not likely that the Dolphins pull off a victory in that matchup, here are three other NFL teams that should be on upset alert in Week 12.
1. Seattle Seahawks at Philadelphia Eagles (-2)
Both the Seattle Seahawks and Philadelphia Eagles are coming off solid performances in Week 11. The Seahawks beat the previously undefeated San Francisco 49ers, while the Eagles came up just short against the New England Patriots. Seattle is 8-2 and in the conversation of Super Bowl contenders, while Philadelphia sits at 5-5 while fighting for a playoff spot. Additionally, Seattle's quarterback Russell Wilson is a legitimate MVP candidate. If both teams play to their current records, Seattle could very walk away from this one with a win, despite being a 2-point underdog.
2. Jacksonville Jaguars at Tennessee Titans (-3)
The Tennessee Titans are coming off an impressive win against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 11, but they go up against a stout Jacksonville Jaguars defense this week. The Jaguars rank No. 8 in the NFL in passing yards allowed per game, something that could give Ryan Tannehill some trouble on Sunday. Jacksonville also got its starting quarterback Nick Foles back from injury last week, they already beat the Titan, 20-7, when these two teams faced off earlier this season.
3. Green Bay Packers at San Francisco 49ers (-3)
This is a battle of two NFC powerhouses. The Green Bay Packers (8-2) and the San Francisco 49ers (9-1) go head-to-head in a game that could have a major impact on playoff seeding. While the 49ers stop unit is near the top of almost every defensive ranking, the Packers and Aaron Rodgers are no slouches. If Green Bay can use the blueprint that Seattle created in Week 11 vs the 49ers, they could hand San Francisco its second loss of the season.
