3 Raiders Veterans That Could be Training Camp Cuts

With the Las Vegas Raiders officially set to be installed in their new location, the team is searching to start strong with a first-year playoff appearance.
Head coach Jon Gruden has a young roster to work with, but there are some aging veterans who might not make the team in 2020. Here are three players that the Raiders could cut in training camp in 2020.
1. Erik Harris, S
Erik Harris went from an undrafted free agent to a starter for the Raiders, but despite making 14 starts last season, his future with the team is far from guaranteed. Harris will have to contend with Jeff Heath and Damarious Randall, both signed over the offseason, and last year's first-round pick Jonathan Abram. With Harris in a contract year on a two-year, $5 million deal, the Raiders may deem that it's time to move on.
2. Devontae Booker, RB
The Raiders signed former Denver Broncos running back Devontae Booker to back up rookie standout Josh Jacobs over the offseason. Booker is on a one-year, $1 million deal, but he will be competing with third-round pick Lynn Bowden Jr. and veteran Jalen Richard for a spot on the team. Booker is only guaranteed $50,000 of that contract, so he could be cut during training camp for very little penalty.
3. Prince Amukamara, CB
Las Vegas signed veteran 31-year-old cornerback Prince Amukamara to a one-year deal over the offseason. This is something of a last shot for Amukamara, who was released from his contract by the Chicago Bears and only garnered a one-year, $1 million deal with just $50,000 guaranteed, despite being touted as one of the best cornerbacks on the market. Amukamara is an underrated player, but his age and low commitment make him a potential cap casualty.
