LSU star wideout Ja'Marr Chase may have sat out of the 2020 college football season, but that's done little to affect his draft stock. Chase is regarded as possibly the best wideout in the 2021 class after posting 1,780 yards and 20 TDs during 2019.
Multiple franchises could use WR help next season. With that mind, here are the three likely teams that will pick Chase in the 2021 NFL Draft.
Ja'Marr Chase 2021 NFL Draft
3. Miami Dolphins (No. 3)
The Miami Dolphins find themselves with the No. 3 pick after just barely missing the playoffs, giving them the chance to reload with a top prospect and hopefully contend next season. Although Miami is facing a big question at QB with Tua Tagovailoa drawing criticism from his own teammates, surrounding the former fifth overall pick with a weapon like Chase could unlock his potential after an up-and-down season. If the Dolphins can figure out their offense, they're sure to be a serious problem in 2021.
2. Philadelphia Eagles (No. 6)
Striking out on wide receiver prospects has become the norm with the Philadelphia Eagles in recent years, so taking a sure talent like Chase with the sixth overall pick should help alleviate their wideout woes. Whether it's Carson Wentz or Jalen Hurts as the team's next starting QB, either quarterback is going to need a No. 1 option if the team hopes to turn its 4-11-1 record around in 2021. Chase is a star and would elevate Philly's offense immediately.
1. Cincinnati Bengals (No. 5)
This is pick is almost too good to be true. The Cincinnati Bengals are set at QB with former LSU star Joe Burrow, and now they have the chance to reunite Burrow with his top college target in this year's draft. When these two last played together, Chase led the country in both receiving yards and touchdowns. Adding Chase to a Bengals receiving corps with Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd already under contract until at least 2023 would position Burrow to wreak havoc for years to come.
