On Monday Night Football this week, we get a battle of two of the top teams in the league, with the Kansas City Chiefs against the Baltimore Ravens. To open the week, the Ravens are the slight home favorites, but no result would be shocking between these two top AFC teams.

However, there could still be some surprises in the game. With that in mind, here are three bold predictions for the Chiefs against the Ravens.

3. Mahomes Passes for 300 Yards

The Ravens defense has been terrific this season, limiting Baker Mayfield and Deshaun Watson, two solid quarterbacks, to an average of 232 passing yards. Look for Patrick Mahomes to come in and smash this average. Mahomes threw for over 300 yards in a close game last week, and the odds are expecting this to be another close matchup, so Mahomes will almost certainly be relying on his arm for much of this matchup.

2. Mecole Hardman Totals Over 75 Yards

Wide receiver Sammy Watkins absorbed a massive blow to the head last week, and it would not be surprising to see him out for this game. WIth him not in the lineup, it opens up plenty of opportunities, especially for the second-year receiver Mecole Hardman. After a disappointing performance in the opener, Hardman totaled 33 yards last game. Should his snaps see an uptick, he could be the Chiefs’ secret weapon in this game. In the matchup against the Ravens last season, Hardman totaled 104 yards.

1. Travis Kelce Scores Two Touchdowns

The Chiefs tight end has had a terrific start to the 2020 season. Travis Kelce has totaled 15 catches for 140 yards, and he has also found the end zone in both games. He continues to be the most reliable weapon for Mahomes, and he should be relied upon in such a high stakes game, especially if Watkins sits out. When these two teams met last season, the Ravens had a tough time containing Kelce, allowing him to catch seven passes for 89 yards.
