After a disappointing season highlighted by "Minshew Mania," the Jacksonville Jaguars now shift their attention to the 2020 NFL Draft. The Nick Foles experiment has seemingly failed, as he was benched (and outplayed) by sixth-round rookie Gardner Minshew II.

The Jaguars have two first-round draft picks this season. They have picks No. 9 and No. 20 due to the Jalen Ramsey trade with the Los Angeles Rams. With that in mind, here are three first-round picks the Jaguars could target to help build the offense around Minshew.

1. Tristan Wirfs, OT, Iowa

Taking someone to both protect Minshew and aid in the running game should be a top priority, and Tristan Wirfs can do just that. With a 6-foot-5 frame, Wirfs is a massive human who has the versatility to play both tackle spots. He has smooth hips and is able to finish to space, something that is ridiculously impressive for a 322-pound man. Jaguars' passers only had an average of 2.4 seconds in the pocket this season, which is tied for the sixth-worst mark in the NFL, so improving the O-line could really help Minshew's development.

2. CeeDee Lamb, WR, Oklahoma Sooners

The Jaguars have a solid wide receiver corps, but adding a talent like CeeDee Lamb could take this unit over the top. He'd be a dynamic fit alongside No. 1 wideout DJ Chark, and would allow Dede Westbrook to continue playing in the slot, where he's generally been at his best. Lamb finished in the top five in the country in receiving yards (1,327), touchdowns (14) and yards per reception (21.4) and it'd be tough to pass up on a playmaker of his caliber at No. 9.

3. Jedrick Wills Jr., OT, Alabama

The first round is a great time to add offensive line talent, and Jedrick Wills Jr. is one of the best in this year's class. Wills is a powerful right tackle who appears poised to contribute immediately, and he excels in the run game. If the Jaguars want someone to create running lanes, Wills is their guy. Second-round pick Jawaan Taylor is Jacksonville's current starter at right tackle, but he was penalized 15 times in 2019, and he might end up being a better fit on the interior of the O-line. Wills looks like an NFL-ready talent, and he'd be a nice addition in Jacksonville.
