Week 14 turned out to be a major struggle for the Cleveland Browns' offense. That was especially the case for wide receiver Amari Cooper, who was a game-time decision ahead of kickoff due to a hip injury and didn't get much going despite ultimately suiting up.

Now a worrisome update has emerged on Cooper's health after the loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.

Cooper told reporters in postgame comments that he actually reaggravated his injury on the very first drive of the game. Despite being hobbled, the top wideout made no excuses about his quiet afternoon.

"But, I mean, it’s really no excuse. Most players are fighting through something, you know what I mean? You just gotta be dependable and go out there and do your best and that’s what I tried to do.”

The veteran's mindset is admirable, but this injury is definitely a concern. Cooper initially tweaked it at Thursday's practice, and then was unable to participate on Friday. That led to him being questionable, and he then aggravated it again in the first quarter, showing this problem likely isn't going away anytime soon.

Cooper was clearly hampered on Sunday, recording just two receptions for 42 yards against a Bengals secondary he tore up for a 5-131-1 line in Week 8. It's obvious the wideout is still working on his chemistry with new quarterback Deshaun Watson, but this injury -- which Cooper clarified is more of a core muscle issue -- won't make his life any easier.

Fans will likely keep a close eye on Cooper's participation in this week's practice. Cleveland also has a short week since it's slated to play on Saturday in Week 15, which could impact the availability of injured players like Cooper.
