A pair of NFC West division rivals meet head-to-head in Week 5 as the San Francisco 49ers travel to take on the Arizona Cardinals. FanDuel Sportsbook has the Cardinals slated as 5.5-point favorites in a game that is full of playmakers on both sides of the football.

If you need some help with your fantasy lineups, here's some start 'em, sit 'em advice for this Week 5 NFC showdown.

Deebo Samuel Fantasy

Start Deebo Samuel, WR, San Francisco 49ers: Talk about a breakout season. Wide receiver Deebo has looked amazing this season and currently ranks as the WR3 in PPR scoring leagues. He leads the NFL with 490 receiving yards through four weeks and has now scored 3 touchdowns. Samuel is tied for the team lead in red zone targets (4) and will look to keep his momentum going against Arizona in Week 5. Keep in mind the Cardinals have given up the seventh-most PPR fantasy points to opposing WRs in 2021. Samuel should have no trouble posting WR1 numbers once again on Sunday afternoon.

Chase Edmonds Fantasy

Start Chase Edmonds, RB, Arizona Cardinals: It's easy to look at the Week 4 box score and get caught up in recency bias. Running back James Conner saw 18 carries, but it is starter Chase Edmonds that remains the best fantasy player in this backfield. Edmonds has seen his snap rate increase in every game this season and is averaging 15.8 touches per game. The fourth-year pro is also averaging an impressive 5.9 yards per carry this season. Edmonds' ability to make an impact all over the offense should come in handy against a 49ers' defense that is giving up ninth-most PPR fantasy points to opposing RBs. He has RB1 upside this week.

Trey Sermon Fantasy

Sit Trey Sermon, RB, San Francisco 49ers: The 49ers' backfield remains up for grabs as it looks like Elijah Mitchell could return from a shoulder injury this week. That would likely leave Trey Sermon with a lot less carries than he has seen over the last two weeks. The former Ohio State standout played in just 1% of the offensive snaps the last time Mitchell was able to suit up. Sermon rushed for 89 yards on 19 carries in Week 4, but has seen just 1 red zone touch over his two NFL starts. Don't expect the 22-year-old to exceed expectations against an Arizona defense that has given up 1 rushing touchdown all season.

Rondale Moore Fantasy

Sit Rondale Moore, WR, Arizona Cardinals: Rookie Rondale Moore finds himself stuck in a deep Arizona receiving room. The 2021 second-round pick ranks fourth at the position in snap rate this season (38%) and has racked up just 29 receiving yards on 5 receptions over the last two weeks. It's notable to point out that the 49ers have given up the ninth-fewest yards to opposing WRs this season. This doesn't seem like the matchup for Moore to turn things around. While keeping the rookie stashed on the bench is a smart idea, he is not worth starting in Week 5.
