Week 13 Fantasy Picks: Start 'Em, Sit 'Em for Buccaneers vs Falcons

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will look to sweep the Atlanta Falcons on the season when they meet up in Week 13 NFL action. FanDuel Sportsbook has the Buccaneers slated as heavy 11-point road favorites in a game that is expected to get out of hand by the fourth quarter.
If you need some help with your fantasy lineups, here's some start 'em, sit 'em advice for this Week 13 NFC South clash.
Rob Gronkowski Fantasy
Start Rob Gronkowski, TE, Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Tight end Rob Gronkowski has done nothing but produce in his two games since returning from a back injury. The five-time Pro Bowler has hauled in 13 of his team-high 18 targets over that span for 194 yards. He also ranks as the No. 3 TE in fantasy scoring when looking at a points-per-game basis. The Falcons rank in the middle of the pack at defending TEs and it's hard to sit someone putting up consistent performances. Everything lines up for Gronkowski to have another big day.
Kyle Pitts Fantasy
Start Kyle Pitts, TE, Atlanta Falcons: Fantasy managers have a right to be a bit disappointed with tight end Kyle Pitts over the last month or so, but it's not for lack of volume. In fact, Pitts has seen at least 6 targets in seven of his last eight games played. He has a great opportunity to bounce back in Week 13 going up against a Tampa Bay defense that is giving up the seventh-most PPR fantasy points to opposing TEs. The game script here bodes well for the dynamic rookie as well. The Falcons will likely be down early and forced to pass the ball a lot, which means Pitts should get peppered with targets all day long.
Ronald Jones Fantasy
Sit Ronald Jones, RB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Running back Ronald Jones has found his way back on the fantasy radar after scoring a rushing touchdown in each of the last two weeks. However, it is important to look at his volume here. Jones hasn't played in over 20% of the offensive snaps in any game since Week 2 and is averaging just 5.4 carries per contest on the season. Leonard Fournette is the clear starter for the Buccaneers and has been on fire as of late. Jones is a great handcuff to stash on the bench in case of injury, but that is it for right now.
Matt Ryan Fantasy
Sit Matt Ryan, QB, Atlanta Falcons: Streaming quarterback options can be limited this late into the season, but avoiding Matt Ryan this week is a must. The Buccaneers have posted the sixth-best total DVOA rating in the NFL and have racked up 14 interceptions (T-No. 4 in NFL). Of course, Ryan's recent performances also don't help his case here. The 14th-year pro has failed to pass for more than 200 yards in four of his last five games. Ryan has also tossed 4 touchdowns during that span compared to 7 interceptions. The 36-year-old should not be in any starting lineups on Sunday.
