VIDEO: Remembering When Brian Cushing Body Slammed Marshawn Lynch to Force a Fumble

One of the most powerful runners in recent NFL history is nicknamed "Beast Mode," and for good reason. Marshawn Lynch really made a name for himself when he joined the Seattle Seahawks, embarrassing defenders every Sunday.
However, Houston Texans linebacker Brian Cushing was embarrassing offensive players left and right. When he faced off against Lynch. he was able to get a perfect tackle on the power runner, body slamming him and forcing a fumble.
While it wasn't the hardest hit in the world, the body slam made it a highlight, SportsCenter-worthy play. He also perfectly popped the ball out, getting the possession back for his offense.
However, it may be Lynch who got the last laugh in the 2013 game. Lynch also had a 43-yard run in the game, and he finished the contest with 143 total yards and a touchdown. His performance elevated Seattle to come back from an early deficit, with a pick-six from Richard Sherman near the end of the fourth quarter forcing overtime.
A 45-yard field gal from Stephen Hauschka would give Seattle the home win, making Cushing's incredible second quarter tackle nearly meaningless.
