VIDEO: Remembering Jay Cutler's Epic Front-Flip Touchdown Against the Lions
Jay Cutler spent eight years with the Chicago Bears, and in that time he not only established himself as one of the greatest quarterbacks in franchise history, but he also became a real fan favorite.
Frequently criticized for not caring enough about his own play, Cutler often made plays that defied that reputation. The most famous example may be this incredible rushing touchdown against the Detroit Lions.
Down 7-0 against the Detroit Lions, Cutler and the Bears were faced with a 3rd-and-goal from the 5-yard line. When no open receivers were available, Cutler decided to get the job done with his legs.
When he got to the end zone he was met by a pair of Lions defenders, but he didn't let that stop him. Cutler was flipped head-over-heels into the air as he fell into the end zone for six.
There's plenty of uncertainty surrounding the Bears' quarterback position for the 2020 season, which likely leaves Bears fans missing Cutler, who led the team to a pair of 10-win seasons during his time in Chicago.
