Philadelphia sports fans have built a reputation for being some of the most passionate to exist, but that isn't always a positive thing. As much as they show encouragement towards players, they can be brutal when it comes to disliked front office executives. Just ask Eagles GM Howie Roseman.

Phillies fans broke out a 'Fire Howie' chant during the fourth inning of the game last night and it just got louder and louder. Fans have only recently started returning to in-person games, so this may be a glimpse into what it will be like over at Lincoln Financial Field in the fall.

'Fire Howie' Chants

This shouldn't come as a huge surprise as fans have understandably been frustrated with Roseman and the Eagles front office for some time now. That is simply due to a couple of poor decisions that has caused the team on the field to crumble over the last few seasons.

It seems like forever since the Eagles won Super Bowl LII and they have put together a disappointing 23-27-1 record since then. There's a lot of pressure to turn things around and Roseman better hope that happens soon or else owner Jeffrey Lurie may not be able to ignore the fans for much longer.

The Eagles will look to bounce back from a 4-11-1 season in 2020 and return to being a postseason-caliber team. With 11 picks in the 2021 NFL Draft, Roseman has a chance to improve the conception of him if he can draft a future Pro-Bowler. That has only been done by this organization once since 2014.
