The Jacksonville Jaguars have started another rebuild, but this time it looks like they are really doing an overhaul. Many veterans have already been traded and some others are currently on the block. With a surplus of draft picks this April, the Jags started creating their roster of the future.
One of Jacksonville's exciting draft picks was former Colorado wide receiver Laviska Shenault Jr. at No. 42 overall in the second round. The young talent is just 21 years of age, and not too long ago Shenault was tearing up the high school level at DeSoto High School in Texas.
Laviska Shenault Jr. High School Highlights
The blazing speed and elusiveness after the catch are some of the features that make Shenault so intriguing for NFL franchises. Even though he didn't have the largest body of work at Colorado, these highlights prove just how dynamic he can be.
There isn't too much behind D.J. Chark Jr. on the current Jaguars wide receiver depth chart, so Shenault will look to make a name for himself early on in his NFL career. It could even be as soon as 2020, which is the hope for Jacksonville.
