Miami Marlins infielder Jazz Chisholm Jr. burst onto the scene with electric performance after electric performance during his rookie campaign in 2021. He ended the year with a .248/.303/.425 including four triples and 18 home runs.

While that wasn't quite enough to garner any Rookie of the Year votes, Chisholm cemented himself as a cornerstone piece for the franchise.

His 2021 campaign got started off with a bang, too. The speedy power threat recorded home runs against aces Jacob deGrom and Charlie Morton for his first two long balls of the year.

Chisholm appeared on the MLB Network recently, and narrated a funny breakdown of his favorite big fly during that stretch.

He called this "my favorite story of a home run." Knowing Morton is lauded for his ability to throw the nastiest curveball in baseball, Chisholm was ready to pounce at an opportunity to hit Morton's "worst offspeed pitch," in his cutter.

The icing on the cake from the segment is when Chisholm leans over to Mark DeRosa and says "Bro, if he disrespects me with throwing a cutter, I'm gonna take it for a ride" with the bat pointing towards center field.

The story unfolds and Morton ended up throwing a cutter, middle of the plate. Jazz did not let that opportunity slip and pounded a no-doubter into dead center field.
