Hitting a baseball is no easy task. Hitting a Major League pitch is considered by many as the most difficult thing to do in all of sports. After all, the most successful guys of all time fail almost seven out of 10 times on average.

Throughout his eight-year MLB career, Javy Baez has proven he's pretty good at hitting in the Major Leagues. However, even the best of the best can look like fools from time to time. And unfortunately, that's exactly what happened to Baez on Tuesday night.

Javier Baez Swing

The angle on this shot probably makes it look a little worse than it was, but he still was completely finished with his full swing by the time the ball reached home plate.

Looks like Baez committed to a fastball as soon as it left the pitcher's hand and got a nice off-speed pitch instead. Swings this early are usually something you only see with your friends playing MLB The Show.

I guess Baez was doing his best to help make the video game look as realistic as possible.
