The Washington Commanders' ugly 2022 season continued on Thursday night. Though Washington got the win, it felt more like the Chicago Bears lost the game, especially considering it took a Chicago fumble to even given the Commanders a shot at scoring a touchdown.
Fans were left disgruntled despite the victory, chanting "sell the team" during a postgame interview with Brian Robinson Jr.
Upset Commanders followers made themselves heard with the chants, which could be heard in the background of Amazon's chat with Robinson after his memorable game.
There certainly wasn't a ton for fans to cheer for after that disappointing showing. Washington mustered just 214 total yards, with Carson Wentz posting just 99 passing yards as the team relied on the run game. The defense, meanwhile, coughed up 392 yards to a Bears offense that's looked dismal to begin the season.
Robinson was the lone bright spot for the Commanders, racking up 60 yards and a touchdown in his first career start.
It's unfortunate players are caught in the crossfire between fans and ownership. Robinson had quite the night, but this moment certainly soured the postgame celebration.
