Injuries to star tennis players are impacting the men's draw and U.S. Open tennis odds ahead of the 2021 event. Novak Djokavic (-140) is the favorite on FanDuel Sportsbook, but he won't have to be concerned about facing a trio of stars in the final Grand Slam of the year.

2019 champion Rafael Nadal (foot) has withdrawn, and joins 2020 U.S. Open champion Dominic Thiem (ankle) on the sidelines. Five-time U.S. Open champion Roger Federer (knee) is also out.

Daniil Medvedev (+430) is a leading contender along with Alexander Zverev (+700), who was runner-up in 2020. Stefanos Tsitsipas (+1100) is also a major challenger after losing in a 5-set match in last year's third round.

The U.S. Open at Flushing Meadows begins Aug. 30.
