Updated Super Bowl Odds Give Patriots Further Advantage Following 43-0 Win Over Dolphins in Week 2

The New England Patriots have been the betting favorite or close to it since they won last year's Super Bowl. And after a 43-0 drubbing of the Miami Dolphins in Week 2, the team's odds have improved drastically to take home yet another Lombardi Trophy this season.
After sitting as high as +800 earlier this month, according to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Patriots now have +340 odds to win Super Bowl LIV.

Odds Patriots Go Undefeated 2019
Now sitting at 2-0, having defeated their opponents by a whopping 76-3 margin, people are talking about the Pats potentially going 16-0 (again) this regular season. The last time this happened, New England did end up losing to the New York Giants in Super Bowl XLII to finish the season with an infamous 18-1 record.
There's even a special prop bet available on FanDuel Sportsbook with +2000 odds that any team will go 16-0 in the 2019-20 NFL regular season. If you want to bet that no team will go undefeated, then the odds are -6000.

Outside of the Patriots, there was a lot of movement in the odds, specifically for the two teams that lost their starting quarterbacks this past weekend. The Pittsburgh Steelers dropped from +2100 prior to Week 2 to +6000 following the news that Ben Roethlisberger is out for the season.

The New Orleans Saints also lost some ground in the odds, going from +900 on Sept. 1 to +1200 after Week 2. With Drew Brees expected to return later in the season, the Saints still have the fourth-best odds to win the Super Bowl.
The 2-0 Baltimore Ravens are another team that shot up in a positive direction, going from +4000 to a near-season-best +2200. There's obviously still months of football left to be played this season, so expect for more peaks and troughs as we reach the colder weather during this NFL season.
