Quarterbacks were the talk of the 2021 NFL Draft given a deep class at the position. Five QBs went in the first round alone, though several talented prospects were taken after that and others also picked up as undrafted free agents.

There's no question about it: Josh Allen is the Buffalo Bills' quarterback of the present and future. After Allen led them to an AFC Championship appearance last season, any offseason quarterback moves are purely depth-related.

Here's a look at the Bills' updated QB depth chart for 2021.

Bills QB Depth Chart 2021

1. Josh Allen

As mentioned before, there's no question about who the Bills' starting QB is. Allen took a massive leap last season, throwing for over 4,500 yards and 37 touchdowns. He even came in second in voting for the NFL's Most Valuable Player, which shows you what the football world thinks of him. It'll be interesting to see how Allen can improve any more in 2021 and just what kind of extension the Bills are able to sign him to.

2. Mitchell Trubisky

The Bills will have a new backup signal-caller in town after signing Mitchell Trubisky to a one-year, $2.5 million deal this offseason. Trubisky had been the Chicago Bears' starter for most of the last four seasons but failed to progress as the years went by. Still, his deal is a bargain for his experience and he's likely one of the better backups in the league.

3. Jake Fromm

Jake Fromm was selected by the Bills in the fifth round of the 2020 draft. The 2017 SEC Freshman of the Year was a pretty decent quarterback in college, having recorded over 7,200 yards and 78 touchdowns in three seasons with the Georgia Bulldogs. He's yet to make his NFL debut and likely won't this season barring any injuries or major improvements by him in training camp.

4. Davis Webb

A former third-round pick in 2017, Davis Webb has found his third NFL home with the Bills. The 2013 Holiday Bowl MVP joined the Bills' practice squad in 2019. He's spent most of his time there and is likely nothing more than a depth option for Buffalo.
