After a Game 1 victory, the Boston Bruins are now greater than two-to-one favorites to win the series.

Given that he was a favorite to win the Conn Smythe Trophy heading into the Stanley Cup Finals, it should come as no surprise that Fan Duel Sportsbook has Tuukka Rask as an even greater favorite now that the Bruins are one step closer to a championship.

Rask is now a -182 favorite to win the Conn Smythe trophy after starting the series at just -106. The Bruins' Goaltender has been nothing short of spectacular this postseason, leading all participants in wins (13), saves (535) and save percentage (.940).

Bruin left winger Brad Marchand now has the second-highest odds (+400) of winning the trophy after his Game 1 goal put him just one point behind the already eliminated San Jose Sharks' Logan Couture for most points during these Stanley Cup Playoffs.

While Rask remains a heavy favorite to win the Conn Smythe–and deservedly so–it is certainly not out of the question a dark horse could come from the back of the pack to steal the award.

A forward has won the award five of the past six seasons. Marchand and St. Louis Blues' left winger Jaden Schwartz (+470) both have decent opportunities, especially if the rest of the games are higher scoring or if the Blues manage to come back in the series. Regardless, this honor feels like it's Rask's to lose.
