Tyler Lockett Injury Update Provides Optimism for Week 12 Fantasy Outlook in Great Matchup vs Eagles

Tyler Lockett was dealing with an unusual and concerning injury after the Seattle Seahawks' last game (in Week 10), and was hospitalized with swelling in his leg.
The Week 11 bye seems to have done him some good, though, and he's already on track to return for a Week 12 matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles.

If Lockett plays it's going to be tough to ignore him in fantasy football, injury or not.
He has averaged 6.2 receptions, 79.3 yards and 0.6 touchdowns per game on the year, ranking sixth among wideouts with 17.7 PPR fantasy points per game. He's also recorded double-digit receptions three times, which is a mark only Christian McCaffrey and Michael Thomas have joined him in hitting.
A Week 12 return would also come in a solid matchup, and despite ranking 12th in Football Outsiders' pass defense DVOA rankings, the Eagles have given up the seventh-most PPR points per game to opposing wide receivers in 2019.
After spending the past two days at a Bay Area hospital, Seahawks WR Tyler Lockett is flying back to Seattle today, per source. Seahawks owner, Jody Allen, provided her plane to fly back Lockett. Expectation is, despite his leg contusion, Lockett will be ready to play vs. Philly.

Fortunately for fantasy football owners, this game has been moved with flex scheduling from Sunday Night Football to the early Sunday time slot, meaning if Lockett doesn't play you'll have plenty of options to replace him with in your starting lineup.
If he does suit up, he carries a ton of upside and sits at WR8 in our Week 12 PPR fantasy football rankings.
