There hasn't been a ton of good news coming in for the Minnesota Twins this season. Minnesota currently trails by 9.5 games in the AL Central division after an underwhelming 19-29 start. Still, this team has a ton of talent and was projected to finish second (+140 odds) in the AL Central ahead of the season.
The MLB season is long and provides enough time to bounce back from a bad start, however, injuries aren't offering any helpful news for Twins fans. Luis Arraez is the latest Twins player to find himself on the injured list.
Luis Arraez Twins News
Arraez, a utility man for the Twins that sees most of his action in LF, wasn't in the lineup against the Baltimore Orioles on Tuesday. Fears of injury were confirmed after the Twins placed Arraez on the 10-day IL with a right shoulder strain this morning.
Arraez has been one of the bright spots in a struggling Twins lineup. He's slashing .277/.358/.333 with 14 RBIs, 17 walks and 20 runs scored in 141 at-bats. Minnesota will hope this injury isn't too serious and Arraez can return quickly to help spark this team down the stretch.
