One of the biggest moves of this offseason included the Las Vegas Raiders trading Pro Bowl offensive tackle Trent Brown to the New England Patriots. A deal developed fast, sending the OT back to New England, where he won a Super Bowl in 2018.

Following his departure, Brown recently weighed in on why it was time to move on from the Raiders.

Plainly, the tackle felt that he was no longer a good fit in Las Vegas. Injuries limited Brown to just 16 games over two seasons with the Raiders, which surely disrupted him from ever finding his groove.

"No hard feelings to them or anything, but I guess you could just say it wasn't a good fit. And I felt like I wanted to be back somewhere where I've worn a lot of jerseys in my life, but I've never been more proud than when I put on the Patriots jersey."

It doesn't sound like he holds any ill will against Las Vegas, but it's clear he prefers the environment in New England. Spending just a season with the Patriots, and winning a championship in that lone year, definitely seems to have left its impression on him.

This has been an offseason of change for the Raiders' offensive line, with Brown and center Rodney Hudson headlining the departures, in what's been an unpredictable series of moves from Las Vegas' front office so far.
