Torrey Smith only played one season for the Philadelphia Eagles, but it appears winning a Super Bowl can make you pretty fond of a franchise. In fact, Smith got into a pretty hilarious back and forth with an SB Nation Twitter in order to defend his former team.

The Canal St. Chronicles, an SB-Nation affiliated New Orleans Saints' site, posted an article wondering what would've happened had the "Minnesota Miracle" never happened.

Smith wasted no time clapping back, reminding the account that the Saints have now been eliminated by the Minnesota Vikings in two of the past three postseasons. Most recently, Smith was a member of the Carolina Panthers in 2018, so perhaps there was a bit of an NFC South rivalry baked into this as well.

Whatever the case, Eagles fans have to love seeing Smith stand up for the team.
