Top Fantasy Football Streaming Defenses for Week 12

Three of the four defenses that scored over 15 fantasy points in Week 10 were also rostered in fewer than 50% of Yahoo! fantasy football leagues.
Fantasy production for defenses is all about matchups and situation. That's why so many fantasy managers opt to lean heavily on the waiver wire and "stream" the position by readily adding and dropping defenses every week to find a new starter.
If you're one of those managers, The Duel is here to help with our top fantasy football streaming defenses for Week 12.

3. Cincinnati Bengals (vs PIT)
The Cincinnati Bengals' defense has certainly cooled off after starting the year red-hot, but they've still shown plenty of life lately. They have scored 7-plus fantasy points in three of their last five games, and their second-highest score of the season came last week. The Pittsburgh Steelers have done no shortage of scoring lately, but Ben Roethlisberger has also taken 7 sacks in his last two starts.
2. Houston Texans (vs NYJ)
The Houston Texans may not be any good, but neither are the New York Jets. In fact, the Jets have allowed the third-most fantasy points per game to opposing defenses on the year. The Texans have actually gone off for 15 and 16 fantasy points in the last two games, and in three full games with Tyrod Taylor starting they have averaged 12.7 fantasy points per game. It's a small sample, but having an offense capable of moving the ball certainly helps the defense, and you can't ask for a better matchup.
1. Chicago Bears (at DET)
Tim Boyle may be one of the worst quarterbacks to start an NFL game this decade. After throwing more interceptions than touchdowns in college, he managed to throw for just 77 yards with 0 touchdowns and 2 interceptions on 23 attempts in his first pro start. Throwing two picks with a staggeringly low 4.6 intended air yards per pass attempt is almost impressively bad. The Chicago Bears defense is nothing special, but playing against Boyle would put any defense in the league into consideration as a viable fantasy play.
