The sports world may be on hold, but for now, college football's 2020 season start remains unaffected. While there are no live sports to be wagered on at the moment, betting on who will win the 2020 Heisman Trophy is going strong.

Despite it being about nine months before we will likely learn the winner of next season's coveted trophy, we do have some clear front runners as well as some possible dark horses. The Auburn Tigers seemingly have two guys in the running, one of which could possibly fit into each of those buckets.

Let's take a look at the two Auburn players with odds to win the 2020 Heisman Trophy, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

2. Seth Williams, WR, Heisman Odds: (+8000)

Seth Williams was a solid contributor for the Tigers last season, hauling in 830 yards and 8 touchdowns on 59 catches. That was a stark improvement from 2018 where he has 534 yards and 5 TDs. If Williams hopes to be a true Heisman contender in 2020, he will have to blow last year's totals out of the water. However, he will be the No. 1 target on a great team, in the nation's best conference, with a quarterback who is also a Heisman hopeful.

1. Bo Nix, QB, Heisman Odds: (+2500)

Bo Nix comes into the 2020 season tied for the seventh-best Heisman odds. He trails five quarterbacks and one running back. If Nix hopes to leapfrog all of them by the time the trophy is handed out, he will have to make a big jump from last season. As a first-year starter in 2019, Nix dazzled at times, but he also had his fair share of shortcomings, ultimately accounting for 23 total touchdowns and 6 interceptions. If he can lead Auburn to an undefeated season or an SEC title on the back of some monster numbers, it will be pretty hard to keep him out of the finalist conversation, at the very least.
