Top 12 Fantasy Football Defense Rankings for Week 8

Defenses are sometimes left as an afterthought in fantasy football, but Week 7 served as another reminder as to just how important they can be. Anyone who got 26 points from the Kansas City Chiefs D/ST on Sunday can attest to that.
With that in mind, here are our fantasy football defense rankings for Week 8.
Best Fantasy Defense for Week 8
12. Indianapolis Colts (at DET)
11. New England Patriots (at BUF)
The New England Patriots are having a disappointing season, but their defense is still showing flashes. Their 24.5% pressure rate ranks No. 6 in the NFL, and Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills have looked incredibly pedestrian over the last few weeks, culminating with an 18-point showing against the lowly New York Jets in Week 7.
10. New Orleans Saints (at CHI)
9. Baltimore Ravens (vs PIT)
8. Green Bay Packers (vs MIN)
7. Buffalo Bills (vs NE)
6. Los Angeles Chargers (at DEN)
5. Los Angeles Rams (at MIA)
4. Tennessee Titans (at CIN)
3. Philadelphia Eagles (vs DAL)
Not far behind the Pats, the Philadelphia Eagles check in at No. 8 with a 24.1% pressure rate. That should make things very tough on the Dallas Cowboys this week, considering they could be rolling out seventh-round rookie Ben DiNucci at QB. DiNucci, who found his only collegiate success playing in the CAA for James Madison, had more sacks (3) than completions (2) in the 12 snaps he played in Week 7.
2. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (at NYG)
1. Kansas City Chiefs (vs NYJ)
The Kansas City Chiefs' huge Week 7 showing highlighted just how much upside a heavily-favored defense can offer, regardless of how strong a real-world defense they may be. KC is an astronomical 20.5-point favorite on FanDuel Sportsbook in Week 8. There's not a defense in the NFL I wouldn't choose as the No.1 option for a week when they're giving almost a full three touchdowns against the New York Jets.
