Opening Day is now a little under two months away, which means it's time to begin prepping for your 2021 fantasy baseball drafts.

Here at The Duel we'll have you covered every step of the way, and that begins with the first step of draft prep — identifying this year's top fantasy baseball assets. You can check out our top-100 fantasy baseball player rankings here and top-20 team names as well.

With that in mind, here are the top-10 fantasy baseball first basemen for the 2021 MLB season.

Fantasy Baseball 1B Rankings 2021

10. Anthony Rizzo, Chicago Cubs

9. Brandon Lowe, Toronto Blue Jays

8. Paul Goldschmidt, Arizona Diamondbacks

7. Luke Voit, New York Yankees

6. Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Toronto Blue Jays

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. was one of the most hyped prospects in recent memory. He's more-or-less lived up to the hype, but 2021 could be the year he finally breaks out. Guerero has been a buzzy name all throughout the offseason due to his dramatic weight loss, which is certainly a good sign. One of the most talented hitters we've seen enter the league in a while, Guerrero is a high-upside option. But he's a risky one as well, as the potential breakout has already been baked into his current ADP.

5. Pete Alonso, New York Mets

Pete Alonso burst onto the scene as the 2019 NL Rookie of the Year by smashing a record-breaking 53 homeruns and 120 RBI with a slash line of .260/.358/.583. His numbers dipped to a 162-game pace of 46 HR with 100 RBI and a slash line of .231/.326/.490. But his underlying numbers didn't look dramatically different from what he did in 2019. His exit velocity was 90.7 in 2019 and 90.2 in 2020, suggesting he hasn't lost much power at all. He also hit fly balls and line drives at a pretty similar rate to what he did in 2019. He's as good a source of HR and RBI as there is in the league.

4. DJ LeMahieu, New York Yankees

3. Jose Abreu, Chicago White Sox

2. Cody Bellinger, Los Angeles Dodgers

Cody Bellinger fell off from his 2019 MVP campaign in a big way last season. After slashing .305/.406/.629, Bellinger's line dipped all the way to .239/.333/.455 in 2020. His real value likely falls somewhere in between those two extremes. And he still was on a 162-game pace to smash 35 homeruns while adding 18 steals in 2020. If he returns to the heights we saw in 2019, the 25-year-old could be a legitimate league-winning pick. And the eligibility at both OF and 1B is a really nice bonus for the former MVP.

1. Freddie Freeman, Atlanta Braves
