The trade speculation surrounding Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones is dominating the NFL world right now. The seven-time Pro-Bowl selection reportedly wants to be dealt and odds have been posted as to where Jones will take his next NFL snap.
However, the Tennesse Titans appear to be falling in the odds after opening up as the favorite at +175, according to FanDuel Sportsbook (only available in Colorado). They have since dropped down to +500 and now trail both the New England Patriots (+250) and Atlanta Falcons (+300).
Julio Jones Trade Odds
The fit for Jones in Tennessee makes a lot of sense given the team has almost no depth at the position behind No. 1 wideout A.J. Brown. Brown and starting running back Derrick Henry have even started recruiting the two-time All-Pro on Twitter.
It's not a major surprise to see the Patriots leading the odds to land Jones right now. The 32-year-old said he wants to go somewhere he can win and New England has made the playoffs in 11 of the last 12 seasons. Head coach Bill Belichick has been making moves all offseason in order to revamp his team and get ready for a bounce-back year.
The Baltimore Ravens (+500), San Francisco 49ers (+750), Washington Football Team (+750), Arizona Cardinals (+850), Las Vegas Raiders (+950), Green Bay Packers (+950) and Indianapolis Colts (+950) remain legit trade destinations as well.
There is no doubt that these odds will keep changing as the trade rumors involving Jones continue to make headlines throughout the summer. It's worth keeping an eye on which team will be able to land this superstar pass-catcher.
