The Denver Broncos rolled in their Week 9 victory over the six-win Dallas Cowboys, and several offensive playmakers revealed a surprising motivation behind their performance.
Broncos wide receiver Tim Patrick sounded off on Dallas' play-calling in his postgame interview, even using a strong choice of words for two early fourth-down attempts from the Cowboys.

"Disrespectful. That s--- disrespectful. They trying us. And that's what happens when you try us."
- Tim Patrick
The two fourth-down conversions in question came on the Cowboys first two drives of the game. Head coach Mike McCarthy forwent a 55-yard field goal attempt to go for it on fourth-and-1 in the first example. The second came on fourth-and-2 at the Denver 20-yard line, which would have only been a 37-yard field goal attempt.
Patrick and the Broncos offense got the last laugh en route to a dominant 30-16 effort. Patrick ended up catching 4-of-5 targets for 85 receiving yards and 1 TD.
