Terry McLaurin Fantasy Value Hurt with Dwayne Haskins Starting at Quarterback in Week 9

Washington Redskins wide receiver Terry McLaurin is in the midst of a breakout rookie season. That may have just taken a hit, though, as he will now be catching passes from the inconsistent arm of Dwayne Haskins.
The Redskins still wanted to develop Dwayne Haskins behind scenes -- the 'he needs time' belief is legit -- but injuries give prime chance to showcase his big skill set. And he's got emerging talent Terry McLaurin, who says, 'Whoever's at QB, it's my job to make plays for them."

So far this season, McLaurin has 28 catches for 458 yards and five touchdowns. The majority of that, however, has come with Case Keenum as quarterback. His two biggest games of the year have totaled a combined 225 yards and three touchdowns, and for both of those contests Keenum was under center.
This makes sense when we take a look at Haskins on the season. In limited opportunity, the rookie QB has completed 12-of-22 passes for 140 yards, no touchdowns and four interceptions.
In what figures to be a tough game against the Bills, the Redskins are 10.5-point underdogs according to FanDuel Sportsbook, it should be tough for the rookie QB to get anything going.

Terry McLaurin has been showing every one what he can do when he gets the ball. Heading into Week 9 and beyond, though, he may have a tough time with a quarterback who is still learning to find his best weapons.
