3 Teams That Should Sign Former First-Round Pick Takkarist McKinley
By Zach Brunner

Following a Week 9 win over the Denver Broncos, the Atlanta Falcons have now won back-to-back games. However, edge rusher Takk McKinley continued to be outspoken with not wanting to be part of the organization.
Finally fed up with the 2017 first-round pick, the Falcons released McKinley, making him a coveted free agent as we begin the second half of the NFL season.
McKinley has played just one full game without being limited this season. In that outing he totaled 2 tackles, 6 pressures, 1 sack, 4 quarterback hits and 3 defensive stops, showing how talented he is. Through injuries and a lack of motivation, the rest of the season has been forgettable.
Still, there are plenty of teams that could use a pass rusher. These are three teams that should sign McKinley.
1. Tennessee Titans
The Tennessee Titans can be a contender this season, especially if they improve their pass rush. They have a 2.97% sack rate, which is the third-worst in the league. If they can combine a strong pass rush with their powerful running game, they will be nearly impossible to come back against.
2. Seattle Seahawks
We saw in Week 9 just how bad the Seattle Seahawks defense is, as they gave up 44 points to the Bills. They have the NFL's 10th-worst sack rate (4.94 %), which makes their bad secondary look even worse. While there is no cornerback signing that could fix their pass defense, adding another feared pass rusher could help out quite a bit.
3. Carolina Panthers
The Carolina Panthers are at least one season away from truly contending, but it's clear they are headed in the right direction. This should be another offseason used to address the defense, with the offense looking strong. The have the worst sack rate in the league (2.63%), and a McKinley signing could be a promising long-term move. Also, he would likely love to play the Falcons twice every season.
