With a point spread of 1.5, Super Bowl 54 is projected to be a close game. Both the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers have their fair share of strengths. Most simplistically, this game can be boiled down to a high-flying offense going against a hard-nosed defense.

However, FanDuel Sportsbook has a prop bet on which you can wager if either team will score three unanswered times (excluding extra points). The "yes" has odds of -220 and "no" has odds of +170.

Depending on how you think the game will go, you could find this to be a good opportunity for a wager. What's interesting is how likely the odds imply this scenario to be, considering the tight 1.5-point spread.

For a game projected to be a close one, you wouldn't normally think there would be a run of three unanswered scores. The prop does have a decent history of hitting, with "yes" coming through in six of the last 10 Super Bowls. These odds are more lopsided than a 60 percent hit rate, though, and two of those six times were games decided by at least 14 point.

Whichever team you like to win this one, if you believe the final score will be close, this could be an interesting spot to find some betting value.
