The Phoenix Suns rode their hot shooting on Thursday to a 2-0 series lead over the Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA Finals. Only four teams in league history have come down from 2-0 to win the title, so it won't be an easy comeback path for Milwaukee.

The Suns' Game 2 victory has given their odds to win the NBA championship on FanDuel Sportsbook a major boost.

Suns Championship Odds

Phoenix's title odds took off once they won Game 1, and they entered Game 2 as -290 favorites to win the championship. Following Game 2, their odds have climbed to -480.

The Suns taking a 2-0 lead has entrenched them as the frontrunner in the Finals. Phoenix shot an impressive 50.0% (20-40) from 3-point range in Game 2, giving them a major edge over the Bucks, who struggled at just 29.0% (9-31) from deep. Devin Booker led the way for the Suns with 31 points, including 7-12 shooting from long range.

Milwaukee wasted a 42-point night from star Giannis Antetokounmpo, as no other Bucks players had more than 17 points. The two-time MVP will need serious contributions from the supporting cast around him if the team has any shot at cutting down this 2-0 deficit.

The Bucks enter Game 3 as 4-point home favorites, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
